Using our local farmers and suppliers to come up with good homecooked meals, soup stocks that take a good 8 hours to create, and preserving the harvest like crazy so we get to eat good year round. Currently, close to 60% of everything that goes into a meal at the Small Cafe comes from local farmers and suppliers.

Novels and Nibbles follows three sisters as they leave their San Francisco tea shop and start over in Austin, Texas. Jane falls for a charming musician, who just might not be the right person for her. Alongside the romance, the sisters navigate family tensions, heartbreak, and rebuilding their lives all with a side of breakfast tacos.
Austin Breakfast Tacos add a little swagger to your plate. Three flour or corn tortillas (your choice and a nod to the GF guests) loaded with spicy chorizo, soft scrambled eggs, melty cheese, and fresh house-made pico de gallo. Topped with sliced avocado, a drizzle of cilantro-lime sauce (our secret recipe), and Chili Cheese Fritos for a crunch worth waking up for!
